Leveling can take a long time in Dragon Ball Xenoverse, and when making a second, or even third character, you likely want to skip the hassle, and jump straight to level 80. We compiled a small list of tips to make the process go by as quickly as possible!
How To Level Up Quickly
- Play Multiplayer Parallel Quests - An easy way to gain experience is to hop online. You can join in with friends and battle through various Parallel Quests together. Having human allies makes them much easier than if you had an AI ally. This will allow you to blast through some of the more challenging ones and reap the massive experience rewards.
- Do Main Scenario Missions - Main Scenario missions can be repeated at any time, and they tend to reward a lot of experience. You can go back and challenge some old bosses for quite large experience rewards, or repeat some of the later game ones, even Demigra, if you are strong enough. A good Mission to do this is "Team with Beerus! End of Demigra" You can get great Xp and Zeni.
- Do Parallel Quests That Require You To Find Dragon Balls - Certain Parallel Quests, like PQ 53 : Dangerous Duo! Warriors Never Rest, have you collecting Dragon Balls. This one specifically only needs you to find 3 to beat it. You can easily do this, even with a level 1 character, so long as you move quickly. This can be repeated infinitely, and you get between 16,000 - 20,000 exp each time!
- Do PQ 49 : Saiyan Revolt - Fairly straight Forward 5 v1 fight. Get to the end with Raditz and Nappa surviving and you are looking at an easy 40,000 XP and a ton of Zeni. If you get the Vegito fight you can earn more than 40,000XP which helps once you get to the higher levels and need more XP. An easy fight that shouldn't take long
- Do PQ 52 : Great Ape Festival - This Parallel Quest is very unique among the final ones you unlock. It has you fighting three Great Apes. The Apes are very easy to kill, even for low level characters, thanks to the unique nature of the battle. You can do this starting as early as level 20, and each victory will net you 40,000 exp or more!
- Use Shenron - This is a last resort method, but if you have Dragon Balls just sitting around, you can summon Shenron and have him give you an experience point boost, letting you reach the next level. This is a terribly inefficient use of the Dragon Balls, so only do this if you have already unlocked everything else with them.
